TV Antenna Reception in Dubuqua, Iowa 52001

Subject: Your deep fringe TV antenna form from Denny's Antenna is ready.

Name: Rick _____________
Email: _______________-
Your question about the HD Stacker deep fringe TV antenna: Hello. Would this setup be for over 100 miles range and do I need an amplifier to boost the signal? I live in Dubuque, Iowa (52001) and we have a lot of hills around here.Would it make a big difference in reception if I put in the attic? Buying antennas according to the reviews seems to be hit or miss. I only want to do this once. Thanks for your time. Rick

Hi Rick,

According to the TVFool data you should be able to receive at least one channel of every major broadcast network.

The HD Stacker TV antenna is the best option. You will need a rotor to get all available channels. However, if you aim the antenna ENE it will receive one channel of every major network so a rotor isn't absolutely necessary. If the TV antenna will supply a single TV without the use of a signal splitter use the LNA 200 preamplifier. If a signal splitter will be in use go with the Channel Master 7777 preamplifier.

I wouldn't recommend an attic installation some of the signals are too weak. If you want to be certain of the best reception I recommend mounting the antenna above the roofline. In weaker signals area attic mounted antennas are not recommended.

If you have any questions or if I can assist you further please don't hesitate to contact me.

Best Regards,
