3. Approximately how many feet above ground level will the antenna be installed?: 20
4. Will the antenna be installed outside above the roofline or in the attic, other: outside above roofline
6. How many TV locations within your home will the antenna supply? In other words, will a signal splitter be in use and if so how many times will the splitter divide the TV signal?: 1
7. Approximately how long will the coax cable run be from the antenna to the TV. If a signal splitter is in use how long will the cable run be from the antenna to the furthest TV: 30 feet

Hello Tracy,

The antenna best suited to meet the reception conditions is the EZ HD TV antenna. Install the antenna aiming north-northwest. Because a signal splitter will not be in use and the coax cable length is only 30 feet signal amplification should not be needed.

If you have any questions please contact me.

Hi Vic,

Looking over all of the reception data I think the HD Stacker TV antenna is the best all around antenna choice for your location. Install the antenna aiming North. To supply the building and the house with signal I suggest the following. Run the coax cable from the antenna into the building to a 2 way signal splitter. From one output port of the splitter supply the TV in the building. On the second output port of the 2 way splitter run to the HDA 100 signal amplifier. From there into the house to a 3 way signal splitter in the house and supply the 3 TVs from the splitter.

If you have any questions or if I can assist you further please don't hesitate to contact me.

Best Regards,

Hello Kent,

The antenna best suited to the reception conditions is the EZ HD TV antenna. Install the antenna aiming east. Along with the antenna use the AP 8700 antenna preamplifier.  The AP 8700 will insure a good signal reaches all 3 TV locations.

Kent, if you have any questions please feel free to reply.

2. Email: ______________
3. Approximately how many feet above ground level will the antenna be installed?: 12
4. Will the antenna be installed outside above the roofline, in the attic, etc...?: In the attic
5. If the antenna will be installed in the attic what kind of building materials will the TV signal have to penetrate to reach the antenna in the attic?: roof of wafer board decking and asphalt shingles
6. How many TV locations within your home will the antenna supply? In other words, will a signal splitter be in use and if so how many times will the splitter divide the TV signal?: 3
7. Approximately how long will the coax cable run be from the antenna to the TV. If a signal splitter is in use how long will the cable run be from the antenna to the furthest TV: 50 feet
8. Include any additional information you feel may be helpful when evaluating your reception conditions.: I'm trying a Lava HD-2605 ultra antenna (bad choice, I guess) in the attic. Two of the stations (KJRH-RF8 and KTUL-RF10) get too weak to receive when the sun goes down.

Hello Cliff,

The two channels that give you trouble have one thing in common they are both VHF signals. When we tested the Lava antenna we weren't very impressed at all with the performance. The amplifier easily overloaded and the VHF signal gain was poor. The built in rotor broke before we could finish the test.

I think your best option is the EZ HD TV antenna. This antenna provides good signal gain on both the VHF and UHF signals. The only issue is that most of the transmitters are East of your location. However, the ION transmitter is SSW and CW is SSE. If the EZ HD antenna is installed aiming East you may not receive these two channels without rotating the antenna.

Along with the antenna I suggest the HDA 100 signal amplifier installed in line on the antenna side of the signal splitter.

If you have any questions please ask.

8. Include any additional information you feel may be helpful when evaluating your reception conditions.: location will be in the lake tenkiller area

Hi David,

There are both VHF and UHF TV signals in your area. The antenna best suited for the reception conditions is the HD Stacker TV antenna. Install the antenna aiming west/northwest.  Because a signal splitter will not be in use and the coax cable run is relatively short a signal amplifier should not be needed.

David, if you have any questions please feel free to reply.
