Best Digital Performance

The EZ HD is a perfect balance of minimal obtrusiveness with maximum performance. However, it's not for everyone. There are those living far from the TV transmitters (more then 50 miles) that will be better served by a larger antenna. But for most of us the EZ HD is all that's needed.

The EZ HD is what's now called a high band VHF and UHF frequency antenna. Over 98% of all full powered digital TV stations in the United States use these frequencies to broadcast their signal. The EZ HD is tuned specifically to receive these frequencies making it more effective in relationship to its size.

Most compact antennas give up performance especially on the VHF frequency band but the EZ HD provides positive signal gain across the entire digital high VHF and UHF frequency band. This assures reception on all channels both high band VHF and UHF band digital signals.

Purposely the EZ HD was not designed to receive low band VHF TV signals like antennas for analog signal. This allowed the designer's to focus more performance on the newly assigned digital broadcast frequencies.

Less then 2% of the TV stations in the continental United States are using low band VHF digital signals to broadcast their signal.  The TV stations that do are listed below. If a TV station appears on this list it is usually best to use a larger/wider antenna to receive their signal.

If none of your local stations are on the list below why buy a larger antenna designed to receive low band VHF? It's just wasted space and likely reduces performance.

Listed below are all full power low band VHF stations located within the Continental United States.
