Greetings Shannon,

Your channels are in multiple directions. You have NBC, PBS, MNT, CW, and TBN all in Paducah all within 22 miles. Your closets FOX is in Cape Girardeau at a distance of 54 miles and your ABC is in Harrisburg IL. at a distance of 52 miles. I would like to recommend the MS 2000 omnidirectional TV antenna however a few things will have to be considered. To receive the ABC and FOX at fifty plus mile using the MS 2000 the terrain has to be reasonably flat and somewhat open between your location and the transmitters. Also your elevation at your home must not be low. Also you must have the ability to mount the antenna as high above your roof line as possible. The MS 2000 is easy to install, does not require a rotor and can provide good reception up to a distance of 60 miles if the above conditions are met. These are all things you will have to consider when making your choice. We do offer a 100% money back guarantee.

The sure choice would be the Winegard HD 7082P VHF/UHF-digiatal TV antenna along with the AP 8700 antenna preamplifier and because the stations are in different directions a rotor to point the antenna for best results. This system would provide excellent results and would not require the elevation height or the flat and open terrain that the MS 2000 would.

Denny,

Hi, my name is Ben and I live in Owensboro KY 42303.  I'm 30 years old and unlike most of my friends I refuse to pay for cable of satellite.  We have never had anything but antenna powered TV.  Years ago I bought an antenna similar to the square sharp shooter and mounted it on top of my home.  It's been working ok, it's always been some what fussy, however we just recently got the converter box and are having trouble with it picking up some of the now digital signals.  I'm in the process of restoring an old antenna tower that I bought.  And plan to erect it in a spot where there shouldn't be an obstructions blocking a signal (we have some very mature trees near our home).  When the tower is done it should stand about 28' tall.  As with any man I want the biggest badest antenna you have; however I don't want to over kill the power if it really isn't necessary.  I like the sound of the Winegard HD 7698P or the WINEGARD HD 7084P. Do you have any recommendations?  Also what size pipe (o.d.) should be installed in the mask of my tower to accommodate the standard brackets for mounting?

Greetings Ben,
>
In the past year or so we have seen a tremendous increase with people your age turning off their cable and going with the antenna. I think it has to do with digital reception, the economy and maybe a little more common sense.
>
According to the reception data you don't need an antenna any larger then the EZ-HD TV antenna. The antenna can be installed in a stationary position with the narrower end pointing West/Northwest. Along with the antenna I suggest the Winegard AP 8780 mast mounted preamplifier.
>
The EZ-HD has about twice the signal gain as your current antenna on the UHF band and 3 times as much on VHF.
>
The antenna can accommodate a mast pipe of up to 1 7/8" OD. A good size to use is 1.5" OD.
>
If you would like step by step detailed information on how to install the equipment, or if I can assist you in anyway, please don't hesitate to contact me.
