Denny,
Just a quick note to let you know the Wineguard MS 2000 is up and running....reception is great !  Attached is a photo of how I mounted the antenna.  I used 2" galvanized pipe bolted down to a base of concrete measuring 12 " across and sets 24" deep into the ground....with the mast bolted to the facia board...it does not move or wave in a wind.  I grounded the entire mast with a 3/4 " copper rod driven 4 ft into the ground.  I then placed the antenna on a 1" galvanized pipe 3 feet up from the top of the 2" mast using a reducer coupling.  Reception at that level was great except channel 30.  Channel 30 had ghosts...so I swapped the 3 foot mast for a 5 footer ...two more feet made all the difference in the world....all local channels 18..21..24..26..30..32..47...49...51..53...59...61 come in crystal clear.   Note:  channel 32..51..61 never came in with my old antenna. Best part is Nobody can see my antenna from the front or sides of the house and the back yard is lined with trees so even the backyard neighbors do not see it.  I mounted it on the (east) backside of the house with the base hidden within the elephant ears and shrubbery ....this is the side of the house where most of the signals come from so I lucked out there.  We have neighborhood antenna restrictions....most folks here have cable or satellite.  That's another reason I used a heavy mast...I can always add a satellite dish antenna later on...  (some folks here pay as much as $135 a month for dish satellite) so looks like I'll be watching what I get over the air. Note:  I painted the bottom portion of the antenna and base green, and it blends in with the shrubs.  I have a stub out from the mast where I intend to place a small FM  antenna for the stereo.  I'm very glad to have ran across your website.  I did all my research there before I ordered and it turned out very well.  I was very happy with the service.  Thanks again.  I hope the attached picture comes through....

The modern television antenna omni directional was first introduced by the Winegard Co.
in the early 1990's. Since that time other manufactures have attempted to copy the design
and performance of the Winegard MS 2000 antenna. To this day the MS 2000 Round television antenna is our best selling TV antenna. Many of the antennas purchased in the early 90's are still in use today.
